A search party has been launched after a French woman went lacking within the jungle on Koh Adang island in Satun province in southern Thailand yesterday, reviews the Phuket Express.
The tourist, 29 12 months old Claire Maire Theophane Drapeau, was final noticed veering off the path into the jungle near a viewpoint on the island sometime yesterday. Satun Police have been notified through a 191 emergency call.
Police in Satun say that Drapeau was staying at a resort on the close by Koh Lipe island and travelled to Koh Adang alone. The search was known as off when it obtained darkish yesterday and resumed early this morning.
First , being a part of Tarutao National Park, just isn’t developed for vacationers like its neighbour Koh Lipe. Its mountainous inside is roofed in dense jungle. There are two waterfalls on the 30 sq. kilometre island – the second biggest within the national park.

Earlier this week, a 73 year outdated Frenchman obtained misplaced in the forest round Khao Eto in Prachin Buri province in central Thailand after straying from the trail.
After spending nearly 24 hours alone within the jungle, the Frenchman discovered his way down the mountain and stumbled right into a bamboo plantation in Noen Mai Hom village. Locals contacted forest officials and the tourist’s wife to come and choose him up.
Last week, two Russian tourists have been rescued after getting lost in the jungle in Phuket. In February, French tourists had been also rescued from the jungle in Phuket..
