In an industry first, Armstrong Fluid Technology has unveiled its Design Envelope hearth pump unit along with Fire Pump Manager, a connected service for tracking pump efficiency.
In addition to providing essential new safety benefits, Armstrong’s Design Envelope hearth pump holds the excellence of being the first self-regulating variable-speed fire pump to meet NFPA-20 (2019 Edition), Section four.8 requirements.
“Key value factors for customers are the cost savings and performance enhancements that outcome from eliminating many pressure-reducing valves from the sprinkler system,” stated Steven Baird, advertising manager, Fire Products, Building Systems Solutions. “This design allows simplification of the piping design for a safer, more economical hearth suppression system.”
เกจวัดแรงดันน้ำ include cost-savings of as much as £1,100 (US$1,500) per sprinkler branch, per ground; elevated reliability and safety; larger design flexibility; the ability to predict and report potential equipment failure; and a reduction in the variety of zones in a sprinkler system and the potential elimination of storage tanks.
“The Fire Pump Manager feature helps to make sure safe, reliable performance in fire suppression methods, and supplies complete transparency into the testing and reliability of the pump,” Baird added.
