KSB Group has won a contract to deliver 14 giant submersible motor pumps for flood control in Paraguay.

The KSB pumps will equip numerous pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” venture. They might be used to prevent future flooding in the course of the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
The city of Pilar is situated 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
